July 10-14 11:15am-1:00pm
Peace in Christ will be hosting the lunch program at Discovery HOA Park July 10-14. This is part of the SOWAC (Summer Outreach Walkersville Area Churches). We will need four volunteers a day from 11:15-1:00, Monday through Friday. The lunches are provided. We will be distributing the lunches to the participants and engaging them in a variety of activities. Those activities are up to us.
The program was created to help feed the school age children (18 and under) lunches during the summer when school is out. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to engage in our community and share some love with our neighbors. Please help us make this a successful and fun time. There will be a sign up sheet available for those who are willing to volunteer.

A live broadcast of Sunday's service will now be available for viewing to anyone with a computer or smart phone and a connection to the internet. If you can't make it to church on Sunday, consider this as an option to "attend" the service from wherever you happen to be.
From your internet browser (Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer) go to the Peace In Christ homepage at www.peaceinchrist.org. Next, click on the large box that reads "Click here to see our video library of Sermons". Here you will see video recordings of past sermons for you to watch at any time. However, if you connect to this YouTube page between 10:25AM and noon on Sunday, a "LIVE NOW" video will be present for you to click on and watch. How cool is that!
Also, if you are willing to help with this ministry, please contact Peter. It involves little to no time outside of the church service and is a great way for anyone with a busy schedule to be involved!
