Info to come...
The Altar Guild is seeking new members because we now have two Sunday services and the current guild members are spread thin. Preparing the Lord’s Supper is a quiet, behind the scenes ministry but is an important and fulfilling one. The guild accepts women, men, and youth as long as one can navigate the stairs by the Altar, carry the elements, and work independently. If you are interested, please contact Marie Moyer, Altar Guild coordinator. Contact info is in the PIC directory. Thank you and all God’s blessings to everyone.
We are praying about adding 1 or 2 more people to help plan and support this important ministry. If you are interested in serving, see Richard Cox or any member of the YST for more information.
On Campus Food and Fellowship! PIC’s junior and senior youth groups will continue to meet the first Friday of every month for food, games, and fellowship from 7-8:30PM. For more information, please contact Richard Cox at: email@example.com.
Anyone who is interested in being an Usher- Contact Matt Fiore, your Head Usher, if you have an interest in serving. Thank You!
Want to lend your talents to this ministry? Contact Mary Krc for more information on how YOU can get involved!
Please continue to drop off shower items in the blue basin on the top shelf by the church entrance. Help!! Make a difference.
Don't forget Food Bank donations...... Please note that they are no longer in need of empty egg cartons.
Make the difference in the life of an older adult in our community. Meals on Wheels is actively looking for regular and substitute drivers to assist with our meal delivery program 11:00AM-1:00PM Monday thru Friday. Commit to one day a week, bi-weekly or on an “as needed” basis according to your schedule. For more information please contact Karen Saul - Volunteer Coordinator at 301-600-6008, email at firstname.lastname@example.org or speak to Doris Ochs.
Can you spare 2-3 hours to volunteer per week or within a month? An occasional errand around town would make life much easier for members. Our mission is to "Empower older adults to live independently in their homes".
Volunteers provide free rides for grocery shopping, medical appointments and other helpful errands.
To volunteer, please call Shannon 301-682-7433 or e-mail: email@example.com.
(English as a second language) Assist members of the community as they learn to speak English. Attend the training, have a heart for internationals and desire to share the Gospel through serving others. Each week there is a time for a five-minute devotion and Bible verse, an integral part the ministry. The cost of training is $50. This covers food, the training manual, and copies of various items. Reimbursed is available or contact Gloria J. for a check. If you’re interested in being a part of this new ministry at Peace in Christ, please contact Jean S.
Currently 6 people depend on a ride to get to church for worship or fellowship activities. We need additional support for this valuable ministry. Plus you get to know other members of the congregation while sharing great conversation on the way to and from church. Please contact the church office for more information or contact Susan Riddles or Gwen Nolte.
Additional Volunteers are needed to establish four "counting teams". These teams will be made up of two non-related members who will, after service, count the offerings, record necessary information for posting, prepare the weekly deposit and drop off at the night deposit at the Walkersville BB&T branch. Time required will be approximately 45 minutes. Training will be provided and a rotating schedule will be established depending on the number of volunteers. If interested in this vital volunteer opportunity, please contact Susan Riddles, financial secretary: firstname.lastname@example.org or 717-575-4081.

Peace in Christ has a prayer chain coordinated by Gail B. We invite you to send her your prayer requests. They may be for the prayer teams’ eyes only or for publication in the bulletin. The choice belongs to the one requesting the prayer. If you would like to be included in the prayer chain as a prayer warrior then get in touch with Gail. If you have prayers for yourself or someone you know, get in touch with Gail. God will continue to bless us as we seek toserve Him and one another!

A live broadcast of Sunday's service will now be available for viewing to anyone with a computer or smart phone and a connection to the internet. If you can't make it to church on Sunday, consider this as an option to "attend" the service from wherever you happen to be.
From your internet browser (Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer) go to the Peace In Christ homepage at www.peaceinchrist.org. Next, click on the large box that reads "Click here to see our video library of Sermons". Here you will see video recordings of past sermons for you to watch at any time. However, if you connect to this YouTube page between 10:25AM and noon on Sunday, a "LIVE NOW" video will be present for you to click on and watch. How cool is that!
Also, if you are willing to help with this ministry, please contact Peter. It involves little to no time outside of the church service and is a great way for anyone with a busy schedule to be involved!
